- Vijaya was only 16 years old when she got married, and a few years before her marriage, there was a certain disagreement between her parents and they separated.
- Due to her mother’s private life issues, her mother, Savitri, began to drink heavily, which affected her greatly. One day, she was in a coma for 19 months and finally died on December 26, 1981, at the age of 46.
