Veda Krishnamurthy was born on October 16, 1992 (Age: 26, 2018) in Kadur, Karnataka, India. She started playing street cricket when she was only 3 years old. Since childhood, she wanted to be a cricketer and one day play for the country. For her primary education, she attended Cambridge School in Bangalore, Karnataka. She was also enrolled in a karate class by his parents, but she didn’t like karate. However, at the age of 12, she earned a black belt in karate. She started her cricket training at the Karnataka Cricket Academy in 2005 at the age of 13. At the coach’s request, her father moved her to Bangalore. Her coach, Irfan Sait, noticed her talent and made her a very good cricketer. Veda also considers Irfan Sait to be her first coach. When she was growing up, she used to watch Mithali Raj play and wanted to play with her one day. Veda has played with Mithali Raj in WODI and WT20 cricket and they are good friends. For her higher education, she attended Mount Carmel College in Bangalore, Karnataka and received a degree in art.

She is the third Indian women’s cricketer to compete in the Women’s Big Boxing League (WBBL). She signed with the Hobart Hurricanes for the third season of the WBBL. She is the youngest Indian woman to score 1,000 times in WODI.
