Tahar Rahim is an Algerian-French actor. He is known for his roles in the French film The Prophet (2009) and the British-American film The Mauritanian (2021).

Tahar Rahim was born on Saturday 4 July 1981 (40 years old; as of 2021) in Belfort in the Bourgogne-Franche-ComtΓ© region of France. His zodiac sign is Cancer.
He received his bachelor’s degree at LycΓ©e Condorcet (also known as General And Technological High School Condorcet De Belfort) in Belfort.
