Swati Chaturvedi is a self-proclaimed Indian freelance journalist who writes regularly for various newspapers and news channels including The Statesman, Indian Express, Hindustan Times, Tribune, NDTV, Gulf News, German The Dry Herald, DailyO, The Wire, News Central 24×7. Her two books received a lot of publicity. The title of the first book was Daddy’s Girl, which she published in 2016.

- Swati Chaturvedi has written most of her career against Modi and his government. She is reported to be an AAP supporter. In 2018, when Rahul met with the prime minister about loan forgiveness for Indian farmers, Swati accused Rahul Gandhi of being a secret weapon of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
