Simran Kaur Mundi was born on Thursday 13 September 1990 (Age 29; same as 2019) in Mumbai. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. Shortly after Simran was born, her family moved to Madhya Pradesh. Her family originated from Mundian Jattan in Khosyapur, Punjab. Simran completed his studies at Delhi Public Schools and Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya in Madhya Pradesh and went on to pursue a degree in Biotechnology at Holka Institute of Science in Indore.

After graduating, Simran returned to Mumbai and started working as Head of Guest Relations at Fame Cinemas in Andheri. There, her job was to manage bookings for film and media industry professionals. While working at Fame Cinemas, Simran was noticed by the iconic makeup artist and hairstylist duo Bharat and Dorris Godambe and encouraged her to enter the Miss Universe India 2008 pageant. Although Simran does not have any formal modeling experience, she competes with the best models in the country and goes on to win the title of “Miss Universe India 2008”.

Simran Kaur Mundi started her career in 2011 by appearing on the gaming reality show “Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout”. The show is hosted by Shahrukh Khan. Next, she debuted as an anchor by hosting the gaming series Hockey India League. She made her debut in 2011 with the Bollywood film “Jo Hum Chahein” in which she played the role of “Neha Kapoor”. The film was tepid at the box office, but Simran’s performance in the film was praised by critics. In 2013, she made her Punjabi film debut with Gippy Grewal’s film “Best of Luck”. In the same year, she made her Telugu film debut with Manoj Manchu’s film Potugadu, which was a huge success.
