We’ve been fighting stupidly, telling each other, ‘My religion is greater than yours! ‘. Does it matter whether we call him Allah or Rama? We are all from earth; we will all return to earth. All religions teach the same principles. “
To spread these beliefs of Rishi Prabhakar, his RSVK organization organized “Global Religious Harmony” in about 200 centers across the country in 1996. At the gathering, all participants are required to take an oath to visit the mosque and read Namaz on Friday, visit the church and pray on Sunday, and visit the temple once a week.
Profession
Introduction to Spirituality
When Prabhakar was in his third year of engineering, a friend of his talked to him about meditation, after which he started reading a book on metaphysical meditation by Shri Paramahansa Yogananda. A year later, in 1968, when Rishi was entering his final year of engineering, he went to Dakshineswar, which, according to Rishi, completely changed his life. However, in July 1974, spirituality was first formally introduced by his teacher Elizabeth Morrison through a transcendental meditation program founded by another Indian spiritual leader, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. According to Guru Prabhakar, this phenomenon had a profound effect on him. In his blog, he said,
I started practicing meditation more and more intensely. I began to observe and study the process of meditation very carefully. Through Maharishi’s company and teacher’s training program, I have gained a lot of excellent knowledge. “
Prabhakar’s pursuit of transcendental meditation led him to do Seva for Maharishi Yogi for several years in Switzerland and India. During his tenure at Maharishi’s ashram, Rishi also served for two years as International Director at the Swiss headquarters.
Spiritual Entrepreneur
Rishi left India for the United States in 1969, but stayed there for just over two years. After a 21-day stay in India in 1971-1972, he returned to his home country and traveled for several months. In 1974, Rishi founded his famous Siddha Samadhi Yoga (SSY) class. According to Guruji, the ease of his consistent meditation provided him with insights and answers that laid the foundation for his SSY classes. He also revealed that from 1979 to 1981, he began to practice more intense meditation, barely leaving the room. To further refine his SSY program, Rishi turned to his childhood mentor Sri Bhagwan Visweswaraiah in Bangalore and meditated under his guidance to find answers.

From 1981 to 1983, Prabhakar worked on a new spiritual field called “Samadhi in Action”, which he formulated through advanced initiation training. During this time, Rishi also co-founded the charitable trust Rishi Samskruti Vidya Kendra (RSVK) in 1982 with his mother and several others. The registered non-profit organisation launched “The Fun Club International” in 1982 in Davangarh, Karnataka. In 1986, it is now all over the world. Rishi has further developed a unique technique for South Asian students in academia, which he calls the Rapid Comprehension and Review Technique (RCRT). According to him, it is a science-based self-study technique that makes learning flexible and easy for students. While living in Pondicherry with his family, Prabhakar developed his famous Kaya Kalp Kriya (KKK) programme, which is now admired around the world. Also known as Yog Samruddhi Sadhana (YSS) or Life Longevity Program (LLP), it claims to reverse the aging process and cure all diseases.
