The other main characters in the drama are played by Lee Jung Jae, Wei Ha Joon, Jung Ho Yeon, Oh Young Soo, Heo Sung Tae, Anupan Tripathi and Kim Joo Young. The series became a worldwide hit as it became the highest-rated series on Netflix when it launched. The show is also the first Korean drama to top Netflix’s top 10 most-watched weekly TV shows worldwide list.
He has also starred in Kdramas such as Chimera (2021) as “Cha Jae-Hwan” and Money Heist (2022) as “Berlin”.

In 2014, he debuted as “Huang Chonggen” in the South Korean movie “Pirates”.
He then had small roles in the Korean films Minority Opinion (2015) and Master (2016). In 2019, he played “Lee Chan-woo” for the first time in “By Quantum Physics: A Nightlife Venture” (South Korea), directed and written by Lee Sung-tae. The film tells the story of Lee Chan-woo (nightclub owner), Sung Eun-young (nightclub manager), and Park Ki-hoon (policeman) battling alleged drug addiction, sex crimes, and police corruption.
