Nedumudi Venu was born on Saturday 22 May 1948 in Kesavan Venugopal (Age 73; at the time of death) in Nedumudi, Travancore (now in Alappuzha, Kerala, India). His zodiac sign is Gemini. Nedumudi’s nickname is Venu, and people often call him by this nickname. He completed his studies at NSS High School in Nedumudi and then attended St Mary’s High School in Champakulam. He then went to SD College in Alappuzha, Kerala to get his bachelor’s degree.

This paved the way for his acting and film career, and he started working as a theatre artist. In 1978, Nedumudi Venu made his Malayalam film debut with the film “Thampu” directed by G Aravindan. In 2021, Nedumudi tested positive for the coronavirus and was admitted to the hospital after making a full recovery. However, he is being treated for some liver disease, a post-COVID-19 complication. He was rushed to KIMS Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday 10 October 2021 and died on 11 October 2021 of his last breath due to liver complications.
