While attending Florida Tech, Cassandra was an active member and captain of their NCAA Division II women’s basketball team. Go Black Panther! Kassandra has also interned at the WFTV Severe Weather Center9. It appears her internship wasn’t the last time she stepped foot into the WFTV building.

When Cassandra worked on the same channel as Tom Terry and Brian Shields from 2011 to 2013, her face may have looked familiar. In January 2014, Cassandra and her now husband traveled from across the country to Albuquerque, New Mexico. A place she likes to call,”No wet place. “
