John Phillip Stamos is an American actor, singer, producer and singer. He rose to fame after playing Blackie Parrish on the ABC television show “General Hospital,” for which he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He is most recognized for his television work, notably as Jesse Katsopolis in the ABC comedy Full House. After the show ended in 1995, Stamos starred in several television movies and series. Since 2005, he has been the official national spokesperson for the Embrace Project.

The journey of life
Second-generation Greek-American restaurateurs William “Bill” Stamos and Loretta gave birth to John Stamos on August 19, 1963, in Cypress, California. His surname was Stamatopoulos, which he inherited from his father.
Stamos worked at his father’s fast food restaurant as a child and teen, flipping burgers in the Orange County area. He participated in the parade during his high school days at John F. Kennedy High School. He saw his first Beach Boys performance at the age of 15, and as a devoted fan, he went on to tour with the band.
He told his parents at the age of 15 that he wanted to pursue a career in acting and singing, and they happily agreed. He intended to attend Cypress College during the 1981 semester, but he dropped out in his first semester to pursue a career in acting, which he did with his father’s approval. Just three weeks later, he got his first job at the General Hospital.
