In 2018, WoodGram estimated Goodman’s fortune at $65 million in 2019. However, Goodman’s net worth could hit $70 million in 2019, with his 50% pay raise for Connors and the increased number of episodes in the second season.
While Goodman’s network television campaigns may not have been as star-studded as the Coen brothers’ films, they did come at a high price. After nine seasons that ended in the ’80s, Goodman’s return to Roseanne for a reboot in 2018 proved to be very lucrative.
According to Origins, Goodman brought in $250,000 per episode over the nine seasons of the show, meaning he made $2.25 million for the reboot. When Roseanne quits after Roseanne Barr’s racist tantrum was wiped out, Goodman gained a foothold in the Conners.
For the Roseanne spinoff, Goodman did even better, earning close to $300,000 per episode. Goodman acquired the show for more than $3 million over 11 episodes of the show’s first season.
For the second season, Goodman and his co-stars brought in a reported $375,000 per episode plus backend samples. Considering the season will have 19 episodes, Goodman will make more than $7 million. With his long career and knack for playing at such a high salary, Goodman’s net worth won’t confuse many.
