Jeffrey Dahmer Bio, Murder, Parents, Victims, Death, Net Worth and Home
Jeffrey Dahmer Is an American serial killer and sex offender. He was always fascinated by animal anatomy, especially skeletons, which led him to develop a keen interest in animals from an early age. Coming from a difficult family, his youth was plagued by excessive drinking and drug use, which made him a lonely person and developed this instinct. He committed heinous crimes and is believed to suffer from necrophilia and has been dubbed the “Milwaukee Cannibal”. Abandoned by his family for his bizarre habits and behavior, he took this nerve-racking practice.
Displaying homosexual instincts, he is believed to have murdered and dismembered 17 men over a 13-year period. Most of his victims were African-Americans. His residence housed the remains of the deceased, packaged and stored in jars and even refrigerators. He often takes evidence such as photos of victims at various stages of the murder process, so he can recall each act and relive the experience afterward. He was also held in custody for a child molestation case, but he managed to escape. Despite exhibiting psychotic features, he received no mercy and was declared sane and sentenced to 16 years in prison. He was killed in 1994 by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver.

family, father, mother, brother and education
Jeffrey Dahmer was born on May 21, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Joyce Annette (née Flint) and Lionel Herbert Dahmer ) the first of two sons. Dahmer’s mother was a teletype lecturer and his father was a student at Marquette University. His father is pursuing a degree in chemistry. Lionel Dahmer is of German and Welsh descent, and Joyce Dahmer is of Norwegian and Irish descent. When Jeffrey was 5 years old, his brother David Dahmer appeared. Throughout his childhood, Jeffrey resented him for being a rival that his parents paid little attention to.
Jeffrey Dahmer Parents – Father and Mother
From birth, Dahmer was a happy child who enjoyed typical toddler activities. It wasn’t until age 6, following hernia surgery, that his personality began to change from a beaming, social child to a sociable, withdrawn loner. His facial expression changed from a sweet, childish smile to a blank stare that has stayed with him all his life.
From his first year at Revere High School (RHS), Dahmer was seen by his peers as a friendless outcast. Many of his classmates later recalled that he was disturbed by the fact that he drank beer and spirits, which he smuggled into school and hid in his military jacket and in his locker. The drinking occurred before, during and after school, and was first noticed when Dahmer was 14.
Once, a classmate saw Dahmer drinking a glass of gin and asked him why he was drinking in class, Dahmer replied casually, “It’s my medicine.” During his freshman year at RHS, Dahmer, though largely unsociable, was regarded by staff as a well-mannered student who was known to be very intelligent. He initially had only an average grade, which the staff blamed on his indifference. Dahmer is also known to be an avid tennis player and played briefly in a high school band.
By the time of his first killing, Dahmer’s drinking was out of control. He dropped out of Ohio State University after a quarter of a semester, and his recently remarried father insisted that he join the military. Dahmer enlisted in the army in late December 1978 and was sent to Germany shortly thereafter.
His drinking problems persisted, and in early 1981, the military dismissed him. Although German authorities will later investigate a possible link between Dahmer and the murders taking place in the area at the time, it is believed he will not take any more victims while serving in the armed forces.
houses
Ohio house
Well, Jeffery Dahmer’s childhood home was on W Bath Rd in Akron, Ohio. In 1968, when Jeffrey was 8 years old, the Dahmer family moved into the 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home.
This mid-century modern home built in 1952 was featured in Akron Lighthouse Magazine for its modern architecture and overall style and aesthetic unique to the time. The 2,170-square-foot home was last sold to musician Chris Butler in 2005 for $244,500. In 2016, Butler rented the house for $8,000 the week of the Republican National Convention and later tried to list it for a higher price, but property records show the owner had no luck selling Dahmer time house. As of 2019, the property has an estimated value of $260,500.
milwaukee house
The former one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment where Jeffrey Dahmer murdered several of his victims no longer exists, replaced by the land it originally stood on. Named the Oxford Milwaukee Apartments, this modern brick building is located on North 25th Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
After police uncovered the bloody secret behind the walls of Apartment 213, the Campus Circle Project, a private organization funded by local business owners in Marquette and the Marquette area, bought the complex for $325,000, well below its $500,000 estimated value. They demolished the building in November 1992, a year after Dahmer’s arrest.
The decision to demolish the 49-unit complex was made not only because it was a bloody landmark that hurts the community, but also because it attracted unwanted attention from curious tourists who wanted to see the location. After the Oxford apartment was destroyed, the City of Milwaukee purchased the land where the apartment was originally located for $500 and chose to leave the land vacant and no further buildings would be built on the site.

First Murder or Victim: Steven Hicks
Unbeknownst to anyone, Jeffrey Dahmer was insane. In June 1978, he was battling his homosexual desires while also needing to display his sadistic fantasies. Perhaps it was the struggle that prompted 18-year-old Steven Hicks to hitch a ride. He invites Hicks to his father’s house and the two drink. As Hicks was about to leave, Dahmer struck him in the head with a barbell and killed him.
He then cut up the body, put the parts in garbage bags, and buried it in the woods surrounding his father’s house. Years later, he came back and dug up the bags, crushed the bones and distributed the remains around the woods. Although he has gone mad, he has not forgotten the need to cover up the traces of his murder. Later, his explanation for killing Hicks was that he simply didn’t want him to leave.
Second Murder or Victim – Steven Tommy Ambassador Hotel
On November 20, 1987, then-Jeffrey Dahmer lived with his grandmother in West Allis. He met Steven Tuomi, a 25-year-old man from Ontario, Michigan, at a bar and persuaded him to return to the Ambassador Hotel in Milwaukee. Dahmer rented a room at the same hotel for the night.
Dahmer told him that he had no intention of murdering Tuomi, but planned to use drugs and rape him while he was in a coma. However, the next morning he wakes up to find Tommy lying on the bed under him,…
