I hate selling, but I also hate my life. I especially hate bankruptcy, dead ends, and inability to pay rent. I also want to make sure that I am no longer on drugs. I have to convert all of this into something. I used a job – a terrible sales job that nobody likes. I decided I was going to do that job well. “
At the age of 29, he started his first business, a consulting firm for the automotive industry. In an interview about his first business, he said,
I started consulting with manufacturers and auto dealers in the US and Canada to see how they could change their processes to be more consumer and dealer friendly, fast, profitable and effective. I still own that company today. I have an idea to change the auto industry. I think everyone can learn from it too. I went to the auto industry and had them pay me to understand the idea. They are essentially investors rather than investors. “
Soon, more people asked for more counseling sessions. People paid him to talk about business ideas. He started traveling around the world and became a public speaker. Religion/Religious Views
He grew up in a Catholic family. He is a follower of Scientology, a group of beliefs and practices and related movements defined as a cult that sees humans as immortal spiritual beings (Thetan) inhabiting a physical body. Speaking about this in an interview, he said,
I grew up Catholic, so one can read that book and still be Catholic, or Muslim, or agnostic, or whoever you want to be, Baptist, Protestant, or Mormon. That book is about your mind, whether you’re Mormon, Muslim, Catholic, or whatever you believe in, this book (Dinitis) is about how your mind works. This is the problem I have in my life. The drug basically masks the problem in my mind, it masks things until the drug goes away and it’s like, oh! question! That book really, really woke me up. “
He further added,
I figured if it made everyone so arrogant, it must be fun, I’ll go and see what my truth is. I like to see new things that others either don’t understand or refuse to consider. The truth is that history has proven that when most people make one decision one way or another on any topic, the masses are wrong most of the time. Scientology and Dianetics is a great thing, I know it helps people, it makes my life incredibly rich in every way…no one should be threatened just because it’s new. It solves problems, empowers people to take control of their lives, awakens people to discover what is true for them. Scientology’s biggest secret is how many very successful businessmen use it in their businesses to create success. “
