Barkha Dutt was born on Saturday 18 December 1971 (Age 48; same as 2019). Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. She received her primary education at the Modern School in New Delhi. She studied for a degree in English Literature at St Stephens College, New Delhi, and a Masters in Mass Communication at the Jamia Millia Islamia Centre for Mass Communication Studies, New Delhi. She then moved to New York to pursue a master’s degree at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
Dutt joined NDTV in 1994 and has covered many important stories. A turning point in her career was when she was sent to Kargil to report on the Kargil Wars. Her reporting style has been appreciated nationally.
