axis Rose is an American record producer, singer, songwriter and activist. As the lead singer of the famous “Guns N’ Roses”, Axl has been the only stable member of the group since its inception in 1985. Known for his controversial public personality, Axl was admired by millions of fans around the world, while others knew him as a misogynistic, crazy singer who often took his troubles out on his bandmates. Axl Rose is often considered one of the most exaggerated figures in the music industry. Many of his observable problems can be attributed to his difficult childhood. After being kicked out of his home, he was arrested several times for public poisoning. Then, determined to change his mind, he became active in the hard rock scene in Los Angeles.
He went on to co-found “Guns N’ Roses”, which became very popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band’s first album “Appetite for Destruction” took the world by storm. The band subsequently released several hit albums such as “Use Your Illusion I” and “Use Your Illusion II”. After the band’s “Use Your Illusion Tour” ended, Axl left public life. In the following years, the band did not tour or perform, nor did they release a new album or single. In 2001, Axl made a comeback with new band members and “Guns N’ Roses” was revived. A member of Guns and Roses, Axl was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. He was named one of the “Greatest Singers of All Time” by NME and Rolling Stone magazine.

Axl Rose was born William Bruce Rose Jr. on February 6, 1962 in Lafayette, Indiana, USA, to Sharon Elizabeth and William Bruce Rose Jr. Bruce Rose). At the time of his birth, his mother and father were 16 and 20 years old respectively. When he was two years old, his parents divorced and his father kidnapped and molested him. His mother married Stephen L. Bailey and changed his name to William Bruce Bailey. He has a sister named Amy and a half-brother named Stuart.
He grew up in a very religious family. His family went to a Pentecostal church, and he was required to attend services three to eight times a week. From a very early age, he found solace in music, performing in church services with his half-siblings under the name “The Bailey Trio”.
At 17, he learned of his biological father when he flipped through old reparations documents that unofficially adopted his birth name. When he joined the band “AXL” four years later, he was named “Axl Rose” by the band members. Haunted by his past, he developed a bad boy image. He was arrested several times in his early years for assault and public poisoning.
Rose’s personal life has been as bumpy as his professional life. In 1990, he married Erin Everly, who later claimed Rose showed up at her home and threatened to shoot herself in his car if she didn’t marry him. The marriage was annulled in early 1991.
That same year, he started dating supermodel Stephanie Seymour. They got engaged in 1993 but split soon after. Ross sued Seymour, claiming she assaulted him, and Seymour countersued, saying he assaulted her and she caught him in self-defense. The case dragged on, but Ross eventually settled out of court. In the case, Everley was called to testify and charged Rose with battery and battery. Ross also settled the case out of court.
Early in his life, Ross was diagnosed with manic depression and prescribed lithium, which he has since refused to take. He said he believed in homeopathy and past life regression. Ross said his past-life regression therapy helped him regain his memory of being sexually abused by his biological father when he was two years old.

Ross owns a house in Malibu, California. He purchased the 4,333-square-foot home in 1992 for $3.6 million, according to records. In 2008, Axl saved several of his neighbor’s houses from a fire that swept the area early in the morning. Knowing that one of his neighbors was not in town, Axl reportedly pushed open the door and flushed the house. Opening the gates also made it easier for firefighters to end up in several nearby threatened homes.
