As Abby Newman aka Melissa Ordway’s gut tells her, Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV is actually alive. Fans want to know who the new chance is, as the young and restless have reprised the role.
Evidence of Chance’s wedding ring was recently found at the blast site, and he is believed to be officially dead. However, it seems that Abby was right all along.

Who is young and restless with new opportunities
Conner Floyd in New Chance on “The Young And The Restless.”
The soap opera newcomer will take over the role in the next episode this November. The character was previously played by Donny Boaz, but he left the show in February 2021. When Chance and Abby married in November 2020, the role was played by Melissa Ordway’s real-life husband, Justin Gaston.
Conor Floyd will take over, however, and fans are desperate to know where they’ll recognize him. He has previously starred in Malicious Motive (2021), Unsubscribe (2020) and The Witness (2019). Although his next adventure is mostly on The Young And The Restless.
There were hints that Connor would be joining the cast, the first being Melissa Ordway starting to follow him on Instagram. The two are a married couple on the show, so it makes sense for the two to work closely enough together and be Instagram friends.
The character is Nina Webster’s son and Jill Abbott’s grandson. Kristen Blair rose to prominence on the show when he told Abby that Chancellor was believed to have died in a bomb explosion while on an undercover mission.

Is the opportunity still alive?
Yes, Abby recently submitted the application through Chance’s box because she almost accepted the fact that he was gone forever. Before she found an unknown phone number, she thought it might be a clue to Chance’s decision to call the number.
A woman picks up the phone and pretends not to know what she’s talking about or who Chance is. Abby lost all hope until she got a call back from the lady who then confirmed Chance was alive.
Abby is overjoyed, but it seems like Billy and Lily might do something, and the woman on the phone isn’t what she seems.
