Amy Freeze’s Career Exploration
Amy Freeze was born on June 19, 1974 in Utah. The 47-year-old meteorologist holds a master’s degree in environmental science from the University of Pennsylvania. She received a BA in Communication Studies from Brigham Young University.
Freeze joined WABC-TV’s New York branch back in 2011 and has remained there ever since. Amy Freeze has also worked on other major network shows such as ABC’s Good Morning America.
Prior to joining the ABC team, Freeze was the first female chief meteorologist for Fox Television WFLD in Chicago, Illinois. She held this position from 2007 to 2011.

So far, Amy Freeze has yet to announce the next step in her career. However, she said she would remain in New York.
On the morning of her final day (October 3), Amy Freeze shared the news of her leaving the web on Instagram Stories.
