The Book of Boba Fett finally hits theaters and premieres exclusively on Disney Plus. Everyone wonders about the bounty hunter’s past, but more importantly, what happened to his appearance.
‘Stranger in a Strange Land’ reveals what happened to Boba Fett in the five years we lost between ‘Return of the Jedi’ and ‘The Mandalorian’ season 2, and to be fair, it hurt him and weakness.
The Book of Boba Fett answers the loose thread that fans have been dying to know since 1983’s Return of the Jedi. The big question on everyone’s mind is why did Boba Fett get burned and look so weak?

Why did Boba Fett get burned softly?
Boba Fett was probably burned by the acid in Sarlacc and the fire he shot to escape the pit.
After Boba Fett escaped from Sarlacc, his unconscious body was found by Jawa scavengers as they picked up Jabba’s barge wreck in the Sandcrawler. Fett’s half-dead body was buried in the sand, and the scavenger removed his armor. This meant he had no protection and could only burn in the scorching Tatooine sun.
Before that, as revealed in The Book of Boba Fett, he had burned a road from the Salak River and used the dead stormtrooper oxygen supply to survive. As the story begins where Return of the Jedi ends, we can see Jabba’s sail barge in ruins, and viewers will think Boba Fett was eaten by Salak.
That was not the end for Fett, however, and despite his severe burns and weakness, the Book of Boba Fett is a testament to his determination and possibly invincibility. The explosive escape from the Salak River has been known to put him in a dire state, so let’s take a look at how he’s back to health.

Bounty Hunter War Novel Trilogy, Further explain How Boba Fett survived injuries after fleeing Sarlacc. They revealed that Pogba got some help from Denga, who looked after Fett and brought him back to health. Except for visible burns and scars, of course.
So his years of bounty hunting, surviving the Salak River, and deep scars from being burned in the Tatooine desert are all reasons for his burns.
The difference between Fett in the end credits scene of The Mandalorian season 2 finale and The Book of Boba Fett is striking. Boba Fett’s scars and brow appearance have been greatly healed. This is because he has Processing from Bhakta Tanks This provided treatment and gave him eyebrows and reduced the appearance of scars.
