Why does Jaskier hate Yennefer in season 2 of The Witcher?
Yennefer first met Jaskier in season one, shortly after Jaskier and Geralt were looking for much-needed djinn help. Since Geralt and Jaskier are already a duo, she might make Jaskier a little jealous because their friendship is thriving. Yennefer kind of broke into the pair, so that’s probably why Jaskier isn’t Yennefer’s biggest fan.
Jaskier’s initial lukewarm response to Yennefer seemed more plausible, as Geralt took his frustration out on Jaskier when he got into a fight with Yennefer at the end of the first season. Geralt tells Jaskill that he wishes he would leave him alone, which naturally hurts Jaskill’s feelings. Really, though, the couple didn’t actually really hate each other and had more of a love/hate relationship.
