It’s been a long time since Nikki finally got in touch with Sally, whom he has admired and even obsessed with for decades. Now that Eric has been introduced to the audience, let’s meet the actor who plays Sally’s husband.

In a recent episode, Rebecca, Miguel, and Nicky visit Sally, but they have to jump over a few hurdles to get there. While Genevieve Angelson played an older version of Sally in season 5, Dey Young now portrays her in season 6 of This Is Us.

Who played Eric in This Is Us?
Jeffrey Nordling plays Eric in This Is Us, Sally’s husband.
Nicky and the family learn that Sally has done a lot in life since meeting each other many years ago. She started working for a pharmacology company in the 1970s and even joked about being filmed dancing without a top in Martin Scorsese’s Woodstock documentary.
When Eric walks into the living room, Nikki is clearly tempted to leave, but Sally somehow makes them both stay for dinner.
She barely recognizes Nicky when they show up on her doorstep, but she also doesn’t mention that she’s married – so maybe Sally is just super forgetful?Sally joked, “For a minute, I thought I had early-onset Alzheimer’s. Or not just early, just regular old age Alzheimer’s.” Rebecca was apparently taken aback by the incident. Triggered, she said, “I Do have Alzheimer’s disease. She then went on to talk about the diagnosis, while Sally was apparently overwhelmed by her monologue. Leading Sally into an apology, the conversation continued.
How was the meeting between Eric and Nicky?
Quite embarrassing, but dinner definitely got hotter as the meal went on.
They start estimating how much time they’ve wasted worrying about stupid things, and Nikki loudly asks how long he’s spent thinking about Sally, saying “maybe decades?” Not the best thing to say in front of her husband Nikki choose. Eric was clearly embarrassed and tried to keep eating until Sally started tearing at him at will. “I regret buying our satellite dish. When we got it, our lair became Eric’s sanctuary,” she blurted out, adding that Eric and she would never be together again.
Eric asked Sally, who asked her not to express their problems in front of strangers. Sally defended them immediately, “They’re no strangers, Eric. Nicky’s an old friend, she’s been with me for 50 years, and you treat me like a front-line chef,” she said. “I’ve known him longer than you. The only reason I don’t mention the little things is that the big things leave me no room to worry about anything else.”
Nicky’s window of hope is that Sally defends him so quickly. As they left the house, she also made a shrewd comment that she would see Nikki again.
So the episode ends with Nicky’s success, as it becomes clear who the future Mrs Pearson might be. The Great Leap Forward certainly hints that Sally and Eric might not be together for long, so who knows what the future holds.

Jeffrey Richard Nordling, born March 11, 1962 in Ridgewood, New Jersey, USA, is an American actor.
The 59-year-old actor is credited for his roles as Jack Manning in “Time and Again,” Larry Moss in “24,” Nick Bollen in “Desperate Housewives” and “Big Little Lies” Gordon Klein is famous.
He is married to Francia Dimase, and the couple have three children together, Miranda Nordling, Eloise Nordling and Iris Nordling.
