On My Block’s final season hits Netflix
When the Covid-19 pandemic started, the film and television industry shut down, which meant On My Block fans had to wait seven more months than the usual 12 months for the new season to end.
The fourth and final season on Netflix ends the story of Monsé Finnie and her group of friends, beginning with the death of Santos’ ruthless leader, Cuchillos.
Cuchilos (Ada Luz Pla) joined as an antagonist in season 3, but at the end of the finale, she was killed. If you can’t remember the how or who, here’s what you need to know before continuing to binge-watch the series.

Who killed Kuchilos?
Cesar’s brother Spooky is responsible for killing his boss, Cuchilos. After realizing she was the reason his father was jailed, he struck a deal with rival gang 19th Street.
Meanwhile, Core Four is being blackmailed by Cuchilos to find Lil Ricky who wants to kill him. The friends knew the leader’s cruelty and had to obey and meet her demands, which gave Spooky all the more reason to deal with her.
While the core four were in the woods, they stumbled across the badly beaten body of Kuchilos lying in a ditch. 19th Street approached the teenagers, saying they were responsible, and set the bodies on fire as the friends walked away.

Who played Koch Ross?
Actress Ada Luz Pla plays Cuchilos, who is of Hispanic descent. She has appeared on numerous shows including Grays Anatomy as Carla, Mayans MC as Celia and Telemasivo VP in Jane The Virgin. On the film front, she starred in Shrink (2009) and Wheels (2014).
She is married to comedian Doug Williams and they share two sons – 17 Doug Williams IIIhe was a quarterback at a traditional Christian school, and Adan Williamsa child actor who will star in the Showtime series.
