After an exciting week of team gymnastics, swimming and more, the focus of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics turns to track and field. The BBC will provide all the coverage and let’s meet their team of track commentators.
BBC continues its Olympic coverage with Athletics Review
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics are in full swing.
Swimming and gymnastics have had dramatic performances, just to name a few, and it’s time for athletics.
The BBC will support us again, covering track and field events from Friday 30 July.
With some familiar commentators and experts, let’s get to know the team.
Who was the BBC’s track and field commentator at the Olympics?
Presenter Gabby Logan will lead the BBC’s lineup, which includes some former Olympians.

Steve Beckley
Steve Beckley is arguably the greatest British javelin thrower of all time, winning multiple British, Olympic and world records.
He will be an expert on all of the BBC’s live events in Tokyo and is a familiar voice and face on the radio.
Backley has participated in every World, European and Olympic Games since 2008.
Steve Crum
Steve Cram is Beeb’s Athletics Golden Boy.
Crum rose to fame in the 1980s with Sebastian Co and Steve Ovette, winning a silver medal at the 1984 Olympics.
The former middle-distance runner has been part of the BBC commentary team during every Summer Olympics since 2000.

Andrew Cotter
Andrew Cotter is a Scottish broadcaster who has covered golf, rugby union, tennis and track and field.
You can also recognize his voice from The Boat Race, or a video of him and his two dogs going viral during the lockdown.
Colin Jackson
The former world champion hurdler and sprinter has become a mainstay of the BBC Athletics Review team.
The Welsh has commented on the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics and has a completely unique and exciting style of commentary.
Paula Radcliffe
Paula Radcliffe is the last member of the BBC Athletics Review team.
The three-time London Marathon champion will be in charge of all distance running events.

What other BBC authorities can you expect to hear?
The BBC’s main commentary team at the Olympics will be supplemented by other leading experts.
Jessica Ennis-Hill, Michael Johnson, Janet Quarkey and Dennis Lewis are all ready for expert roles.
They will be heard at next week’s track and field competition.
