Player 067 is North Korean defector Kang Se-bi, who decides to play the deadly game of squid to earn enough money to get her mother out of North Korea. She also wants to support her younger brother, who is currently living in an orphanage.
Saebyeok translates to “dawn” in Korean, and the character quickly became a fan favorite. People have shared their love for Player 067 on social media.
Meet Actor and Model HoYeon Jung
HoYeon Jung is a 27-year-old South Korean model and actress. She was nicknamed “Korea’s Next Top Model” after finishing second in the show’s Korean incarnation. She has since worked for major fashion houses and publications such as Vogue, Chanel, Fendi and more.
