Who is holding Maria in ‘The Young and the Restless’? Maria has been missing for over a week — at least for soap opera time — and fans want her back. In a Y&R spoiler, fans’ predictions were finally confirmed, as it was revealed that Maria had been kidnapped. But who is her captive?

Maria has been missing for over a week – at least for the soap opera time – and communicates only via text messages.

The room has a private bathroom and someone makes sure she eats healthy food.

From her surroundings, it appears that her captor is someone she knows – or if not, she is well looked after anyway.
Young and Restless Theory: Who Holds Maria?
So far, it has not been revealed who holds Maria. But young people and restless fans have some theories. For example, some of them believe that the mysterious return of Stitch (Sean Carrigan) may have something to do with Maria’s disappearance.

Just as Maria disappears, Stitch is back in town, always a friend and a huge supporter of Abby (Melissa Oldway).
However, Abby hasn’t heard from her ex for years – so it’s odd that he’s everywhere now.
according to soap opera spyStitch is the last person to see Maria before she disappears, and when Abby and Tessa Potter (Kate Fairbanks) receive a mysterious text from Maria, Stitch is by her side.
