Who is the young and restless Ben?
Benjamin “Stitch” Rayburn, MD, is a fictional character in The Young And The Restless, portrayed by Sean Carrigan (from Everybody’s Doing Well, Ford v. Ferrari).

He is best friends with Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton), whom he met in the military.
Ben and his sister Kelly grew up with an alcoholic father. One night, after Ben had a fight with his father, his father was knocked out and subsequently died.
Ben pleaded guilty and served time for the murder of his father. However, after one of his former classmates died, Ben took his last name and Social Security number, erasing his past.
Sean Carrigan returns to Genoa
On June 25, Carrigan returned to the set of “The Restless” after a four-year absence.
The last time Ben was on the show, we saw him practicing medicine in Iowa, where his son Max (Jared Breeze) is in long-term care after undergoing brain surgery.
Now, the man who exchanged wedding vows with Prime Minister Abbie Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) is back in her life.
As you may recall, Ben and Abby got married in 2015, but the union didn’t last long.

Their marriage ended after she suffered a miscarriage due to Ben’s troubled son, Max. At the time, Ben wanted to try to solve the problem and continue to have a family, but Abby wasn’t ready.
