What is sex education?
Sex education is everyone’s favorite high school drama. The Netflix series revolves around the lives of students and teachers at the fictional Moordale High School, following teenage Otis and his friends as they navigate the highs and lows of dating and sex.
The cast includes Asa Butterfield as well as Emma McKay as Maeve, Nkuti Ghatwa as Eric and Conor Swindells as Adam.
Gillian Anderson is returning as Otis’ sex therapist mother. We’re sure she’ll return with a more stylish, elegant and spot-on look.
New cast members for season three include Harry Potter’s Jason Isaac, who will play Headmaster Grove’s more successful brother Peter Grove. Jemima Kirke, best known for the TV show Girls, will take on the role the principal hopes for after Mr Grove’s dismissal.
Where was sex education filmed?
Sex Education Series 1 and 2 were mostly filmed in Wales – specifically Penarth, Caerleon and Wye Valley.
Otis’ house is located in the beautiful Wye Valley, and some episodes were also filmed in the Forest of Dean.you can even visit Room Aerial footage for the Symonds Yat series.
The backdrop for Moorfield School was filmed at the Caerleon campus in South Wales. The building was part of the University of Wales until it closed in 2016.
The school occupies 32 acres with 20th century brick buildings.
The gym scene was filmed in Penarth Paget Room. Other locations include wire bridge At Tintern, this is the route Otis and Eric take to school.
It seems that the same or similar locations were used for sex education season 3.list of actors return Filming was to take place on the Caerleon campus despite the demolition of some nearby buildings.
