What is true beauty?
based on a webcomic (a digital comic) of the same name, True Beauty follows Lim Ju-gyeong (played by Moon Ga-young), a high school student who rises to fame after mastering the art of makeup through YouTube tutorials.
Essentially, Ju-gyeong has an inferiority complex about her appearance. Then she meets Lee Soo Ho (Cha Eun Woo), a high school student with a dark past.
The story arc shows that the couple grew as individuals after meeting.
The first episode of the show – which aired yesterday – was very well received in South Korea.according to Nielsen KoreaThe national audience rating of the first episode was 3.573%, and the highest audience rating was 3.8%.
In the Seoul area, the number is even higher. The nation’s capital region averaged 4.056 percent, with a peak of 4.3 percent.
