Stoner the Cat is the latest animated series about an old woman played by Jane Fonda and her five feline friends. Here’s where to watch animations by purchasing collectible NFTs.
The adult cartoon was created by animators Chris Cartagena, Sarah Cole and Ash Brannon, and Mila Kunis loved the idea.
The project experimented with non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which meant viewers funded the content they wanted to watch, rather than stream it. Let’s see what’s different.

The Stoner Cat animation is about an old woman named Ms Stoner who lives with her naughty cat.
Ms. Stoner suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and uses medical marijuana to help her with the disease. However, when she hotboxes the house, her cats get excited and they start talking to each other.

Many wondered why Mila didn’t go the traditional route of pitching the idea to Hollywood. They did initially, but found their focus on marijuana prevented them from getting good offers.
At that time, Orchard Farms, Kunis’ production company, took the idea further for over a year and delved into using NFTs. Mila is considering letting viewers buy NFT tokens for Stoner Cat as a pass to watch the show.
This is a positive result of Mila’s quarantine, she revealed that “some people started baking or weaving, I delved into cryptocurrencies and NFTs,” she told Conan O’Brien on his June talk show.
Can one NFT token buy one episode?
No, if you buy an NFT, you get lifetime access to 5 minute episodes.
The series is only available to NFT holders, and this approach seems to have proven popular. Over 10,000 NFTs sold out in less than 35 minutes as each card sells for 0.35 Ethereum Selling for over $800.
This means that the Stoner Cats family has raised over $8.4 million, and the NFT can double in price when it sells, as it becomes a collectibles marketplace. Prove that the show is a huge success for the Stoner Cats!
