Users on Twitter have noted the prolonged absence of weatherman Paul Conrad.
His interim replacement, Morgan Kolkmeyer, is an early morning meteorologist on the same channel. But while she has earned the respect of Conrad’s general audience, people still wonder what happened to Paul Conrad.
So much so that the WGN Morning News Twitter channel posted a tweet last week — a clip from their regular show — in which other WGN hosts reassured viewers.

How long has Paul Conrad been on vacation?
In the video, host Pat Tomasulo joked that the only explanation for Conrad’s “five weeks’ absence” was that he was in a witness protection program.
“We have a lot of people asking,” he continued. “Paul is fine. As far as we know, he’s not sick. He’s just trying to take advantage of a lot of vacation time.”
Another presenter, Dan Ponce, commented that he thought he had “a few weeks to go.”

That means Paul Konrad will probably be back from vacation next week (around August 9th) since the video above is from last week.
