Season four of “Ozark” hits Netflix on January 21, and fans binge-watched all seven episodes over the weekend. The picturesque landscape lends a dramatic atmosphere to the show, providing a mystical backdrop. Fans are dying to know where Season 4 was filmed, especially where The Byrde house is, is this true?
After a “brief” hiatus of nearly two years, Ozark is finally back with its fourth and final installment. Fans have a question, it’s being released in two parts – thanks, Netflix. Now we’re waiting for the last seven episodes to stream.

Where is Bird’s home in the Ozarks?
The Byrde family’s house is not on the Lake of the Ozarks, but on Lake Lanier in Flory Branch, Georgia.
Byrde’s lakefront home is 2,514 square feet on 1.27 acres.the house is it is said Located at 6818 Gaines Ferry Road, Flowery Branch, GA.
Photographs of the Birds were all taken in Van Pugh North Park, just south of Lake Lanier. Next door to the property is another famous Ozark home, where Sam Dermody lived. We all know Dermody from the series as Wendy’s real estate boss.
Explored filming locations in the Ozarks
In the Ozarks, Wendy and Marty resettled in Lake Ozark, Missouri. This 4,000-square-mile reservoir is an authentic location in the northern Ozarks. The reservoir is man-made and is also known as the Redneck Riviera.The Ozarks are located in the Midwest and are made up of two mountain ranges: the Boston Mountains in Arkansas and the Saint-François Mountains in Missouri
However, most of the Ozark locations were actually filmed in Georgia rather than Missouri. This is due to the tax incentives provided by the state that lead filmmakers to film in this location. The actual shooting was not done by Lake of the Ozarks. Instead, most of the Ozark filming locations were on Lake Lanier and Lake Alatuna in Georgia.
The Lake of the Ozarks in the series was inspired by the Alhonna Resort and Marina, where series creator Bill Dubuque worked during his college days. This property was rebuilt in Georgia.
