Squid Game is Netflix’s creepy new drama about a mysterious survival game with a 45.6 billion won (about $40 million) reward.
Through nine episodes of vivid thrills and dramatic bloodletting, this lurid, surprising survival action drama shows just how far a group of people has to dig out of a hole.
The premise is very simple: give 456 hapless people with huge debts a chance to play the game.
They do so of their own free will, not knowing that they’ve signed up for a series of arcade games with deadly twists.
The Squid Game quickly became a powerful statement of class division and competition for survival, as characters’ anxiety and despair surfaced and everyone tried to outwit them.

Who is Wei Hejun?
Wi Ha-joon plays the role of Hwang Joon-ho, a police officer who leads him into the game in search of his missing brother.
Ha Jun is a South Korean actor and model under MSTeam Entertainment.
He made his debut in 2012 and rose to fame with roles in the horror film Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum, the romantic drama “Something In The Rain” and the thriller “Midnight.”
