• Vaibhav Arora is an Indian cricketer who has bowled for Himachal Pradesh state team and Kolkata Cavaliers in the Indian Premier League on the domestic tour.

• Vaibhav Arora came from humble beginnings, his father owned a dairy called Harbans Milk Dairy in Punjab Mohara, Ambala Cantt. He used to help his father take care of the cows and deliver milk to the family.

• Vaibhav Arora moved to Chandigarh in 2011 and joined DAV High School, known for its world-class cricket academy. It is also famous for where Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev started his cricketing journey. Talked about his journey in an interview. He said-:

  I moved to Chandigarh when I was in class IX. My father (Gopal Arora) was afraid to send me to Chandigarh. I was young and never left home, but he succumbed to my insistence. “

• Vaibhav Arora moved to Himachal Pradesh from Chandigarh after failing to get enough chances with the Punjab U-19s in 2018. After joining the Himachal Pradesh national team, he became a professional player at the age of 21.

• Vaibhav Arora had an impressive showing for his state team at the U-23 level, taking 26 wickets from nine games and eventually becoming the leading wicket-taker in the tournament.

• It didn’t take much time for Vaibhav to jump from U-23 level to first-class cricket. He made his debut for Himachal Pradesh against Saurashtra in Dharamsala in the 2019-2020 Ranji Trophy.

• Vaibhav Arora got the precious wicket for Cheteshwar Pujara by knocking down the middle stump on his debut. In that Ranji match, he recorded his best score of 9/105 against Saurashtra. He had 29 scalps in 8 first-class games with an 18.58 average.

• Vaibhav Arora made his T20 debut against Himachal Pradesh in Chhattisgarh on 10th January 2021 at Vadodara 0n. He took 2 wickets in the game and bowled with an economy of 6.00 per round. He took 10 wickets from six T20 matches to help his side Himachal Pradesh reach the quarter-finals of the Syed Mustak Ali Trophy.

• On February 21, 2021, Vaibhav Arora made his debut in Jaipur in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Himachal Pradesh in Maharashtra. He scored a remarkable hat-trick in that game, becoming the first player in history to score a hat-trick on his A-League debut. He played a total of five List-A games and won eight wickets with an economy of 5.16 runs per round.

• Vaibhav Arora has joined UAE Punjab Kings as net bowler during IPL 2020. It’s been a good learning curve for him as pitching to players like KL Rahul, Chris Gayle, Glenn Maxwell, Mayank Agarwal has boosted his confidence. Describing the experience in an interview, he said—

  After my first online class in Dubai, Rahul Bhai asked me where I played from and said I would be playing IPL soon. Mr. Anil also came to me and asked similar questions, he said I had potential and told me to keep working hard. “
