Some Lesser Known Facts About Wadivir Balaji

• Vadivel Balaji is an Indian comedian, parody artist and actor.

• He starred in several Tamil films such as “Kaalam Maari Pochu” (1996), “Vetri Kodi Kattu” (2000), “Thavasi” (2001), “Sutta Pazham Suttatha Pazham” (2016) and “Kolamavu Kokila” (2018)).

• He appeared in the TV comedy shows “Siricha Pochu” (2014) and “Kalakka Povathu Yaaru Champions” (2019).

• Vadivel participated in season 7 of the popular dance reality show “Jodi Number One”.

• On August 24, 2020, he was rushed to Billroth Hospital, a private hospital, and then to Vijaya Hospital, Chennai; as he was suffering from severe chest pains. His hands were paralyzed and he was put on a ventilator. After 15 days of illness, on September 10, 2020, he was transferred to Omandurar Estate, a government hospital in Chennai; due to lack of financial ties with his family. On the same day, he suffered a cardiac arrest and stroke, and passed away on the morning of September 10, 2020.
