Tony Cascarino names two Leeds players who have improved significantly this season

Tony Cascarino has hailed Leeds’ progress following Marcelo Bielsa’s win at Manchester City.
Leeds United have now scored four points in their first season back to the top flight title race.
Cascarino picked between Stuart Dallas and Illan Meslier era After that famous victory, it was sealed by the former’s double.
Leeds have been excellent under Bielsa and the way they defended with ten men on Saturday was perfect.

“For a man, Bielsa lifts every player. I remember watching Dallas at Brentford where he was a neat wide player in a decent league team. Now he is the team’s main midfielder in the first half of the Premier League.
“I spoke to Leeds centre-back Liam Cooper last week and he said if they can play 46 games this way in the Championship, why not play in the Premier League with eight games less?
“Their defence has definitely improved. Goalkeeper Ilan Meslier has appeared more confident and commanding in every game and the team has a more cohesive defensive structure now.
“Since the 4-2 away loss to Arsenal in February, they have conceded only seven goals in eight games. It’s clear that the players fully believe in what Bielsa is trying to achieve.”

Leeds have continued to reach new heights under Bielsa, and that’s only because he’s a great coach.
Saturday’s win was probably the culmination of his reign, a testament to their health and organization.
Dallas has had an excellent maiden Premier League season, operating from different positions.
Messier has adapted well to life in the Premier League as a young goalkeeper.
