The top five characters in the legend of korra
like Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra It was a hit during its 2012 premiere, and although the animation was hampered by Nickelodeon’s studio in the final season, that didn’t stop creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Brian Koniezko from producing a fantastic series. This article will focus on five of the best characters in popular cartoons. Korra, Mako, and Bolin are exceptions because we know they’re great, and there’s a lot of writing about their greatness. However, cameos such as Aang, Toph and Avatar Wan were also excluded from the list. While creators can dig deeper into their Avatar lore, it’s best to focus on characters that make a big difference throughout the season. Let’s start with the name:
Lin Beifeng
The stubborn and stubborn republic police chief is a great representation of the original character in republic Avatar series. Lin, Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi help reveal information that their parents are far from perfect. In Lin’s case, Toph gave her a lot of freedom because her parents were restrained growing up. However, Lin’s scars come from simply trying to please her mother, which actually ends up separating her from her family. Admittedly, the content of this backstory could be a series. However, Rin isn’t just a great character because of her backstory, but she’s just as brave, loyal, headstrong, and fun to watch as her mother. Her character softens once she warms up to Cora and the gang, but her development is well done. The ultimate sacrifice she made for Tenzing and his family in season one was a strong moment for her, though her reunion with Toph was an interesting trip through memory.
Amon
The Legend of Korra Become powerful with an amazing villain, Amon. Because of his father’s cruelty, he believes that bending is evil. Amon is Jett, minus any hero stuff. His worldview is distorted due to his tragic backstory, and he is willing to permanently rid the world of the benders for selfish goals. The reveal that he’s a bloodthirsty is well done, and his final showdown with Cora and Mako is brilliant. That encounter also helped produce one of the show’s more powerful moments when Cora finally mastered airbending. Considering we don’t actually see Amon die on the boat with Tulloch, there seems to be a hint that he might be back for another season, but that’s probably because it’s a children’s show and showcases such an intense and violent Moment is not allowed.
Tallock
As the first season progressed, the North Water tribe as the characters became stronger representatives of the obvious evil. The show never shies away from Tulloch’s apparent manipulative and cunning behavior. However, once it was discovered that he was a bloodthirsty, the writers developed his character wisely, and a brilliant flashback to his childhood brought Tulloch back to square one. DiMartino and Konietzko are masters of their villains. These men or women are not evil for evil’s sake, their upbringing has shaped them as human beings, and even then we can see the good side of their characters. It’s hard not to cry over the tragic end to these scarred brothers, especially when they seem to finally be happy for once.
Iknick Blackrock Warrick
Although Berlin is a great sokha Korra legend, Warrick would steal the show with his quirky and hilarious antics. Known primarily as Warrick, the charismatic and gorgeous character has some of the best one-liners and gimmicks in the entire show. In season two, his tiny heel turn felt a little reluctant, though mostly because we didn’t spend enough time with the eccentric billionaire. Thankfully, the crew chose to return Warrick and his loyal assistant Zhu Li for the rest of the season, with whom he has a very good relationship with the cast. The writers also did a great job of not overlapping the roles of Warrick and Boleyn. Both are comedies, but Warrick is more of an over-the-top goofball, while Boleyn has a nice layer of seriousness that complements his comedic side. Warrick isn’t as layered as some of the other characters on the roster, but he’s happy to see that it’s hard not to put him on top.
Zahir
If Zaheer doesn’t show up in season three, Amon is locked in as the best villain for the entire series. Again, what makes these villains so great is that they’re not just lunatics trying to destroy the world. The Red Lotus Sect Master wants to restore the balance between heaven and earth, but there is no order of the White Lotus Sect, Shikoku, and Avatar. Season three can be considered packed with cool villains from the series. With the introduction of Lava Bend, Ming Hua’s bizarre use of Water Bend, and P’Li, a vicious assassin with powers similar to those of the Burning Man, it’s easy to see that these three are better than Zaher; The in-depth exploration of Zaheer makes Zaheer interesting, and he has several standout moments, including the complete kill of the Earth Queen. Zaheer would be the perfect final villain for Korra because she really didn’t win the war with him. She may have beaten him, but the mental scars carried over into the next season.
