Pat McAfee was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played for the team from 2009 to 2016.
After retiring in 2018, McAfee moved to the media, appearing on ESPN, DAZN, and Barstool Sports. He also created his own podcast, The Pat McAfee Show, which airs Monday through Friday at noon ET on Sirius XM and YouTube.
The 34-year-old is also a well-known figure in WWE. He was a guest commentator on WWE’s NXT TakeOver event in 2018 and was transferred to SmackDown in April 2021 as a color commentator on Friday Night SmackDown.
McAfee will host Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers on his show on February 22, 2022, where they are expected to discuss the QB’s future.

McAfee agrees to blockbuster FanDuel deal
On Thursday, November 9, it was revealed that sports media personality Pat McAfee has signed a huge sponsorship deal with FanDuel. FanDuel is a gambling company that offers sports betting, daily fantasy sports, online casino and online horse racing betting products.
McAfee’s show is already sponsored by the company, but NFL insider Ian Rapoport has revealed that a massive four-year extension has been agreed.
The deal will make McAfee’s popular podcast Pat McAfee Show about $30 million a year. Shams Charania of the track team.
The former NFL bettor confirmed the news on his YouTube channel, uploading a video with the caption: “Thank you so much…Pat McAfee for the massive announcement.”

The deal with FanDuel will make the sportsbook the show’s exclusive betting partner. The deal includes an exit option after three years.

During his eight-year career with the Colts, McAfee played in two Pro Bowls and was an All-Pro. He earned $452,000 per season from 2009 to 2012 and signed a one-year, $2.97 million contract in 2013. His biggest contract came in 2014, when he signed a five-year, $14 million deal.
There’s no doubt, though, that his latest lucrative deal with FanDuel will boost his net worth. It is unclear how much of the $30-a-year base salary he will receive from FanDuel. However, he is likely to be well-rewarded as the main driver behind the show.
