Liverpool academy player Dominic Cornes is inspired by first-team star Thiago.
in an interview official club website, Midfielder Cornes said he enjoyed watching Espanyol games.
Thiago had a rough start to his first season in English football; he was injured early before battling a series of games.
But Kones’ comments are a reminder of the quality that Liverpool’s purchase of Thiago from Bayern Munich brings to the club.

“I really enjoyed watching Thiago. I was just trying to build on some of the things he did. Obviously he plays for the first team and that’s the level you want to be at.
“I just get the ball as much as I can. I’ve always liked the way Thiago plays.
“He’s also from Barcelona, so naturally he has that side of football, where he has the ball as much as he can and tries to play it.
“I haven’t seen him talking about Kirby, but with the new campus, every practice is an opportunity now because you don’t know who’s watching.”

One potential downside of the first-team bubble necessary to keep the Premier League going is the lack of interaction between top stars and developing prospects like Kones.
The 17-year-old would have loved to have an intersection with the Spaniard, but that was out of the question given the bubbles needed to keep football safe.
He hopes that if he gets his way into Jurgen Klopp’s plans, he can fight alongside those he admires.
