Weed is a well-known section in the Netflix catalog and has been dubbed one of the hottest series on the streaming platform.
However, fans of the show will be sad to hear that the series was removed from Netflix on April 1, 2021.
While no longer available on Netflix, fans can watch all eight seasons on Netflix Amazon Prime and star play.

Why was weed removed from Netflix?
The show has been pulled from the US version of the streaming platform as its license is about to expire Netflix.
The show has been pulled from Netflix in the UK, Australia and Canada.
The show’s departure comes as Lionsgate chairman Kevin Beggs spoke last May about the series’ future.
He said deadline: “As we’ve seen, the value of the library continues to rise.
“We’re encouraged by what we’ve seen with Mad Men and look forward to monetizing weed Further into the fourth cycle. “

Will there be a Weeds sequel?
In 2019, type A Weeds sequel called Weeds 4.20 is reportedly in the works, which will be set 10 years after the original series.
At the time, the Lionsgate CEO told publication: “We’re excited to be back with series star and producer Mary Louise Parker on what we’re calling ‘Weeds 4.20’, which is already in active development at Starz as we prepare for one of the biggest TV shows on TV A comprehensive and comprehensive launch. However, it is unclear when the new series will appear on our screens.
