What school did Dan Lawrence attend?
Dan Lawrence grew up in Chingford, a suburb of London, and took AS Levels at Trinity Catholic High School, but opted to drop out before completing A-Levels.
Lawrence told echo news For him, it was “a very easy decision” to focus all of his energy on cricket at that stage.

After leaving school, Dan Lawrence not looking backHe made his Essex debut at the age of 17 and reached his maiden century in his second appearance for the county.
He has been a regular on the team ever since. The talented right-hander — who also hits while spinning — helped the team win county titles in 2017 and 2019.
Essex also lifted the inaugural Bob Willis Trophy in 2020, cementing their dominance in county cricket. Lawrence scored nearly 4,000 runs in first-class cricket (Creek Information).
Lawrence gains international recognition
After playing a key role in Essex’s success, Lawrence was told to call up England.
In recent years, the intermediate hitter has seen the debuts of young players Ollie Pope, Dom Sibley and Zak Crawley.
This week, he finally got his chance. With Pope and Ben Stokes both out of England’s Sri Lanka tour, Lawrence was selected fifth in Galle’s first Test.

The 23-year-old played well in his first inning. His eye-catching 73 points put England in a strong position in the game. His innings consisted of six innings in one and four innings in six (Creek Information).
With a trip to the Ashes at the end of the year, Lawrence is hoping to gain a foothold when England retake the urn.
Who is Lawrence’s family?
Despite his stellar performances on the field, Lawrence had to deal with his mother, who passed away last year from a long-term illness.
Lawrence told BBC Sport: “Mum has been sick for several years and as sad as it is, I have prepared for the worst.
“It made things really tough for a few months and then it was great to be back with my good mates playing cricket for Essex, I needed them at the time. They were all great.”
Lawrence’s nickname in Essex was “The Kid”. His father is a groundskeeper and his brother Tom is in training. Professional wrestler of Bethnal Green Lucha Britannia. He performed under the name David Rackham.
