Loan striker Willian Jose was denied his first Wolves goal by VAR against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Friday night.
The goal was disallowed due to offside against Daniel Podens in the build-up.
Thankfully, they still won the game thanks to Adama Traore’s stunning stoppage-time performance.
But BT sports expert Peter Crouch told daily mail He was saddened by Jose after yet another VAR controversy.
Willian Jose put the ball in the back of the net but the goal was ruled out for offside after a VAR review…#FULWOL

“The goal that Willian Jose ruled out against Wolves at Fulham made me so sick. It reinforces why I’ve never retired so happily. Imagine how he feels?
“In a hurry to break his duck, he produced a brilliant header that the computer ruled out. Glenn Hoddle said something that struck me; why should the fans go to the game when they don’t know what’s going on?
“No one in Craven Lodge knew what happened to William Jose. We had two teams of staff yelling at us from our gantry to let them know what was going on. How could this be right? of?
“They’ve done their best to kill football this season. While the system continues to run, with all the uncertainty spinning, the important things that we should be focusing on will remain in the background. It’s a joke.”

Crouch is on the scene and Jose is only the latest player to fall victim to a VAR call – it will be someone else next week.
The writer would drop VAR entirely, allow for a degree of human error in the refereeing process, and regain the joy of scoring goals.
It certainly doesn’t tell you if someone’s sleeve is off or on the side, and jots down a goal that no one thinks is a problem.
