Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce has claimed the Magpies are “enough enough” to compete with West Brom tomorrow, according to reports Chronicle Live.
Newcastle were forced to postpone their game against Aston Villa last weekend after the coronavirus outbreak hit the club’s training ground.
There are also serious concerns over whether their game on Saturday can go ahead.
Bruce: “We’ve had enough”
However, Bruce said some players have recovered this week and are ready to play.
“We have a lot more than we had on Monday,” Bruce said in his pre-game news conference.
“Some people have been infected (coronavirus) and have now left them.
“We have plenty of time to pick a team.”
‘Hunk’ squad still missing
In St James’ Park, however, it’s far from sweet and bland. The training ground has been largely closed since the outbreak, and the club has not played a game in December.

Bruce admits the preparations for tomorrow’s game are far from ideal and confirms there are still some absentees in his squad.
The manager said: “This is a large number (of staff affected by covid-19) and we will not have a large number of players.
“I felt like a doctor this week, not a football manager. We’ve been off the training ground since Crystal Palace (November 27).
“If you asked me last Monday, I wouldn’t have thought this game would start.”
Newcastle look to build on Crystal Palace win
That trip to Crystal Palace gave Newcastle a 2-0 win.
The Magpies are currently 13th in the standings, eight points above their rivals tomorrow and look comfortable. They will be looking to win back-to-back league titles for the first time this season.
West Brom have only managed one Premier League victory so far. However, a first away win of the season will give Slaven Bilic’s side a huge boost against underpowered Newcastle.
