Albina Khamitovna Ahatova (Russian: Альби́на Хами́товна Аха́това, Tatar: Albina Xəmit qızı Axatova; born 13 November 1976) is a former Russian biathlete.

Profession
At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, she won bronze in the 10km (6.2 miles) pursuit and 15km (9.3 miles) individual event; Olga Pyleva was promoted when he was disqualified for failing a doping control. She also won gold, silver and bronze medals in the Olympic relay events in 2006, 1998 and 2002 respectively.
Ahatova also won the group start gold medal at the 2003 World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk. Bronze in Oslo in 1999 and silver in Oberhof, Germany in 2004, both over a distance of 15 km. She was also part of the relay team that won Russia at the 2000 and 2003 World Championships.
After a break in the 2006/07 season, she returned in January 2008. At the 2008 World Championships in Östersund, she won silver in the 7.5km (4.7 miles) sprint and bronze in the 10km chase that followed.
doping cases
On 13 February 2009, the IBU announced that Akhatova and teammates Ekaterina Iourieva and Dmitri Yaroshenko tested positive for EPO during the World Cup in Ostersund. Everyone was subsequently banned for two years.
