Manchester City’s Ferran Torres struggled in yesterday’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.
Manchester City will be very disappointed with a 1-0 loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final.
Not only did Guardiola’s side fail to reach the final, but they also lost their chance to win four trophies in one season.
The likely Premier League winners are still in the EFL Cup, Champions League and ahead of their rivals in the Premier League.
The Champions League trophy is one of the things City are most keen to add to their collection, having proven unsuccessful in Europe in recent years.

Torres kept silent at Chelsea
The Manchester City winger struggled in the FA Cup and only 16 touches All games.
Torres also didn’t have a single shot, dribble or aerial duel to justify his efforts.
The Spaniard did complete a tackle, but that was pretty much Torres’ only successful statistic.
It wasn’t entirely Torres’ fault, with the vast majority of the attack taking place on Raheem Sterling’s pitch side.
That means the winger just isn’t involved in many attacking moves.

What’s next for Guardiola?
City’s next challenge will be Aston Villa in the Premier League on Wednesday.
It’s a game City have historically enjoyed, with Guardiola’s side winning all of the last six meetings between the two teams.
The last time the two teams met, Manchester City won 2-0 with goals from Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan.
So barring a knock-on effect from this defeat to Chelsea, you can expect Guardiola’s men to take all three points on Wednesday.
