His journey as a swimmer began when he took part in a school swimming competition. He then became interested in swimming and joined the Goregaon Sports Club in Mumbai to learn to swim from professionals. There, he competed with many national swimmers such as Kapil Shetty. In 2017, he joined the Glenmark Aquatic Foundation in Mumbai for further swimming training. Later, he attended a 30-day training camp in Bangalore to prepare for swimming competitions. He then started participating in various swimming competitions such as the 3rd SFI All India National Club Championships (2018), 64th National School Games (2018), 36th Asian Central and 46th National Swimming Championships at Glenmark (2019), 10th Asian Age Group Championships (2019) and Khelo India Youth Games (2020).

He has won many medals and trophies in swimming competitions. In 2021, he won 7 medals including 4 silver and 3 bronze at the 2021 47th National Junior Swimming Championships in Bangalore. In this event, he represented Maharashtra in the 800m freestyle, 1500m freestyle, 4×100m freestyle relay, 4×200m freestyle relay and other swimming events. His father shared the news of his son’s victory via an Instagram post.

- He is an avid animal lover and enjoys playing with dogs. He has two dogs, a parrot and some fish as his pets.

- In an interview, he shared that he is an egg lover. He further said,
My father is vegetarian and so are my grandparents. I am an egg. I eat a lot of eggs for protein, about 12 eggs a day. Also, I eat a lot of carbs and protein shakes. So my diet is basically more carbs. In the morning I will have an egg sandwich and a glass of juice. I ate a lot of rice for lunch along with palak (spinach) and dal (lentils). Apparently there are eggs. Then in the evening, I’ll have a waffle or other egg sandwich. “
