Varun Alagh and Ghazal’s son Agastya was born with a skin condition called eczema. Agastya’s skin is allergic to some products and can become red and itchy when exposed to certain products that contain chemicals. Doctors advised them to use commercially available non-toxic baby care products for their son. The couple had a hard time finding natural skin care products for their son as most baby care products in India contain toxins. Because the couple didn’t want to compromise on their child’s health, they often asked relatives and friends traveling abroad to bring non-toxic products for their son. Tired of the hassle involved in arranging the right products for their kids, Varun and Ghazal came up with the idea of making their own non-toxic products for babies and adults.
