She became popular with the Star Plus series “Khichdi” (2002). Some of her other Hindi TV series are “Main Kab Saas Banoongi” (2008), “RK Laxman Ki Duniya” (2011), “Badi Door Se Aaye Hai” (2014), “Saath Nibhaana Saathiya” ( 2015) and “Manmohini (2018).
In 2020, she starred in the Gujarati film Golkeri.

- While filming for the TV series Saath Nibhaana Saathiya in 2016, she was rolled down the stairs and seriously injured.
- She was rumored to have a cold war with her co-star Rupal Patel on the set of “Saath Nibhaana Saathiya” (2015). Wandana said in an interview,
It’s a completely different scenario and experience. I’m used to working with people who connect, rehearse and are happy to collaborate. But here, people prefer to be alone, which I think makes sense because everyone can’t be the same. ”
