Suhasini Rajaramknown by her stage name, Sneha (born 12 October 1981) is an Indian film actress working in the South Indian film industry. She made her debut in the Malayalam film Ingane Oru Nilapakshi (2000), directed by Anil-Babu, and later signed on for the Tamil film Virumbugiren, although it was released two years later. She started getting quotes in Tamil and turned her attention to Kollywood; the same year she debuted the film Ennavale starring R. Madhavan. In 2001, she had her first commercial success in Aanandham. After starring in several commercially successful films, she became one of the contemporary heroines of Tamil cinema of the 2000s.

Sneha’s personal life
Sneha was born in Mumbai as Suhasini to Rajaram and Padmavathy, the youngest of four children. Her family moved to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates shortly after her birth. The family later settled in Panruti in the Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu, where they had a marriage sanctuary called Sneha Mahal on the Chennai-Kumba Konan highway.

Fazil Nazeem recommended Sneha to Anil-Babu who was looking for a heroine for his love story Ingane Oru Nilapakshi (2000).
