While working on the two space stations, Nancy was excited to report on numerous space shuttle launches and landings at Kennedy Space Center. One of the toughest moments of her career was in February 2013, near the space center’s runway, waiting for Columbia and its crew to return from a mission. In addition, she participated in Hurricanes Frances, Joan and Charlie in Central Florida, reporting nonstop throughout the now well-known 2004 hurricane season. When she’s not busy with work, Nancy and her husband enjoy spending time with their two children, Benjamin and Julia.
