Morari Bapu was born on Wednesday, September 25, 1946 (Age 74; same as 2020), in Talgaharda, Bhavnagar district, Gujarat. His zodiac sign is Virgo. He completed his studies at a high school in Taljahada. Later, he studied as a lecturer at the Shahpur Training School in Junagadh, Gujarat.

His spiritual journey began when he was 5 years old. He used to sit next to his grandparents who taught him Ramcharitmanas. Morari Bapu’s grandfather used to teach him five Ramcharitmanas hymns (Chaupais) a day, and Bapu used to recite it on his way to school. He used to listen to folk and spiritual stories from his grandmother. At an early age, he memorized the chaupais (couplets), and at the age of twelve he memorized the entire Ramayana.

At the age of 14, he preached the Ramayana for the first time in 1960 at the “Ramji Mandir” in Targahada.
Internationally, he held his first Kathas event in Nairobi in 1976. He has recited Kathas in over 800 events in India and abroad, including in countries such as Sri Lanka, Indonesia, South Africa and Kenya, as well as in the UK, US, Brazil, Australia, Israel and Japan. Morari Bapu’s katha chants Ram Kathas at the foot of Mount Kailas in Tibet in 2011. Besides Ram Kathas, he also read 19 kathas on Gopi Geet in 9 days in Navratri.

In December 2016, he organized Ram Katha for Third Gender in Mumbai. He is supported by popular Indian LGBT activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi. Laxmi said in an interview,

He has been working for the welfare of women in the red light district. In December 2018, he organised Ram Katha for these women in Ayodhya and distributed Rs 6.92 crore for their benefits, including Rs 1.1 lakh of his own. Morari Bapu was one of the first spiritual leaders in India to meet women in the red light district in Mumbai.
He has been out supporting the construction of the Rama Temple in Ayodhya. He participated in an event organized by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in 1992 and called on youth to support the construction of Rama Temple in Ayodhya. In an online Kathas in 2020, he called for people to donate at least 50 million, but received more than 18 donations within 6 days of his appeal.
He has always supported Indian soldiers and praised their contributions in his various mantras and speeches. He visited Indian soldiers in Wagha, Firozepur and Amanat. He has been helping the families of the martyrs and in 2019 announced an aid of Rs 1 lakh to the families of the martyrs attacked by Pulwama.
He is also involved in various other social activities such as organizing public toilet construction in Bardoli in 2005, fighting drought in Ram Katha in Jaipur in 2003, donating Ram Katha to Akshaya Patra Foundation and organizing Ram Katha in Surat (2015) “Beti Bachao” Abhiyan (Save the Girls). He has also provided financial aid on various occasions including Rs 100 crore for the floods and reconstruction of the Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand in 2014, financial aid for cancer patients and kidney disease patients, and the Akshaya Patra Fund 4 crore will be provided.

Devotees of Lord Krishna did not like his statement. He later apologized for the claim. Pabubha Manek was disturbed by the statement of the former BJP MLA, whose video went viral online and he was seen rushing towards Bapu, who was touring the building to speak to the media after visiting the Dwarkadheesh temple.
