Winget started her career at the age of 12 as a child actor in the film Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya and then at the age of 14 as a child actor in the Indian film Kuch Naa Kaho. Later, as an adult, she went on to work in various Indian TV shows.
Winget’s big break as a TV lead came on the show Karthika, where she took on the role of a struggling singer who dreams of becoming famous.
She later starred in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, where she played the main character’s daughter, Sneha.
